What is climate control?
We understand that some of your items are valuable, or environmentally-sensitive, and would benefit from climate controlled storage units. These items may include computers, paintings, photos, books, family heirlooms, antiques, or wine. Our climate controlled storage units help keep your items in a constant environment. We ensure that our units are enclosed and, therefore, resist dust, pests, humidity, and other threats to valuables.

What storage unit sizes are available and how do I pick my size?
We understand that every customer has their own individual storage needs. We offer a wide range of sizes to accommodate these needs. Sizes range from 4×4, or 16 square feet, to 15×24, or 360 square feet. To determine all the sizes available at our location, visit our storage unit size page.
What should I do if I forgot my access code or lost the key to my lock?
Don’t worry, we are here to help! You should contact the facility directly to let us know and to discuss what can be done. Keep in mind that you will be expected to provide verification of identification just for security measures.
Can I access my storage unit after the set access hours?
No. At Simply Self Storage, securing our client’s valuables is our top priority. We set strict access hours to ensure that no one enters the units at inappropriate times of the day.

What is a drive-up unit?
A drive-up unit is an outside unit, located on the first floor of our facility that gives you the ability to load your belongings directly from a vehicle. Drive-up units are a lot more convenient to transport large items, especially furniture or commercial equipment. What is a roll-up door?
Roll-up doors are the most common doors used in self storage facilities. They are accessed by sliding a latch and lifting the door upward, similar to the motion of a garage door. Roll-up doors allow you to maximize the usage of your space.
What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?
An outdoor unit is most often a drive-up storage unit, located on the first floor of the storage facility. It gives you the ability to load your belongings directly from a vehicle.
An inside unit is within the property and will require you to go inside to access your storage unit, which may be on the first floor or may require you to use an elevator to go to another floor of the facility.
What is the difference between office hours and gate hours?
The office hours are the hours of operation for the property. During these hours, our Store Manager and other staff members will be available to assist you with your storage needs, or moving and packing supplies.
The gate hours are the hours of the property, and when your unit can be accessed. If you require access outside of our standard gate hours, contact your Store Manager for more information.
Are there contracts required to be signed?
Generally, all our storage units are rented on a month by month basis without any binding contracts to be signed. However, certain promotions require a short-term contract signing. Contact one of our friendly staff members to learn about how you can rent your new storage unit and start moving!
